How long can you hold your breath? Central fans discovered they can hold their breath for the last two minutes of a football game during Friday night's homecoming game against Mill Creek. That was the time left in the game after the offense brought the Bulldogs ahead of the Hawks 14-7.

Central's defense played strong the entire game by not allowing the Hawks into the end zone. Mill Creek only crossed the goal line with their defense on a recovery play early in the game.

The offense struggled early in the game but came back to the field with a renewed determination to win that thrilled the packed stadium.

Friday night's victory could bode well for the Bulldogs. The come from behind victory was a benchmark for the program and something that we needed to do as a team.

The win might also be providing the Dawgs and their fans a glimpse into the future. Mill Creek, if they chose to play a region schedule next year, will be a member of region 7AAAAA and be a regular opponent of FCHS in their new classification.
