The 2nd Annual Smart Growth Forsyth Golf Tournament is Monday, August 28th, at the Laurel Springs Golf Club. Player sign-in and warm-up begins at 9 am and the shotgun start is at 10:30 am. Registration information is available online at www.SmartGrowth-Forsyth.org. The group is also looking for sponsors for the event, and sponsorship information can also be conveniently found on the web site.
Registration is $100/player. But -- if you sign-up by July 15th, registration is just $85.
Up to 36 foursomes will take part in a Golf Scramble competition. Awards and door prizes will be divied out at the event, along with a catered breakfast and lunch. The golf tournament is open to men and women of all ages. Whether you've been playing for years or if you're so new that you can't tell a 5-iron from a waffle iron, come on out and support Smart Growth and the community by taking part in the event.
