The Cumming GymSations Booster Club announced today that it will be hosting it's Annual Golf Tournament on August 28, 2006. The tournament will be held at the prestigious Windermere Golf Club with registration beginning at 11:00 am and shotgun start at 1:00 pm. All of the proceeds from this golf tournament will be applied toward the purchase of new equipment for the Cumming Recreation and Parks Department's gymnastics program!

Over 700 children practice each week at the Dobbs Creek Recreation Center, which also houses additional recreational facilities that are enjoyed by over 2000 people on a regular basis. Over the past few years, the team has matured into a competitive presence within the gymnastics community. To support this growth, the booster club is actively fund raising to purchase state-of-the-art practice equipment for our gymnasts. As the team continues to progress to higher levels, the investment is vital. This season, our equipment needs consists of:

• Elite Uneven Bars
• Elite Balance Beam
• Level 4 Vault Landing System
• Vault Runway
• Additional Landing Mats
• Training Pit
