Your Forsyth County YMCA has a great baseball league for kids! There are two leagues - one for 8-9 year olds (machine pitch), and one for 10-12 year olds (player pitch).

The YMCA wants kids to have fun, so the leagues are not too intense or competitive. Instead, they're meant to introduce children to the game of baseball teach them the fundamentals. This is perfect for beginners or for kids who don't practice seven days a week.

All one needs to play is a baseball glove. Cleats are optional (although no metal cleats are allowed). The league will start the end of May, and there will be one practice plus one game each week. The league will run approximately eight weeks.
