Atlanta Soccer Academy Hosts Very First Tournament

The Atlanta Soccer Academy (ASA), based in Cumming, Georgia, is honored to host the club’s very first soccer tournament – Xtreme Adidas Cup -- the weekend of May 13-14, 2006.

Approximately 860 youth players are registered to participate, and new teams are still signing up for this exciting debut event. Teams from all over metro-Atlanta will be traveling to the Polo Fields, Midway Park and South Forsyth Middle School in Forsyth County to participate, including clubs from Cherokee, Henry, Coweta and Gwinnett counties, along with a few teams from Tennessee.

There are currently 86 teams ranging from U8 to U16 in Recreation and U8 Elite to U12 in Academy, and games are scheduled to begin at 8:00 am each day running through about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening. All participating players will receive goody bags, compliments of ASA. Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each division.
