To the Editor:
The school board abruptly changing the start/end times of school days is reminiscent of the way former Gov. Roy Barnes changed the state flag:
planned in secret, then quickly passed without input from the general public.
As a former teacher of this county, I cannot say I'm surprised by the board's action. Gov. Barnes paid the price for what some perceived as arrogance. Will our local school officials suffer the same fate?
Sincerely,
Kevin Singh
