Faced with the stark reality of significant school budget cuts and larger class sizes in Georgia, teachers and tutors need all the support they can get, now more than ever, when preparing for classes.  Resourcefulness is a must for those faced with fewer available dollars and greater expectations to produce well-educated students.

While there are countless Internet sources for good, solid content for most any school subject, it’s hard to find a reliable tool that makes test creation a breeze for educators, not to mention one that stores tests and enables teachers across their grade level to “tag team” and share tests, resulting in a more efficient and productive teaching environment.

That’s why Cumming business woman, Julie Wilson, designed Quiz Infinity, a free online site for teachers and tutors where quizzes can be created from current classroom study materials, then shared with colleagues via a Universal Library.

“It was evident as teachers started using my first test creation site, Qwizzy’s World, launched in 2008, that there was a need for them to have a similar online resource geared specifically for educators.  These educators were building a wealth of quizzes with content pertinent to their current classroom studies and in several subjects.   It just made sense to give them a place to share those quizzes with their colleagues,” explains Wilson, Quiz Infinity Founder.

Based on continuous input from teachers representing various grade levels, school administrators, and professional tutors, Wilson developed Quiz Infinity with all the bells and whistles from these teachers’ “wish lists,” and the site launched this month, just in time for the 2010-2011 school year.
 

Quiz Infinity offers the following unique benefits:

• Quizzes can be stored for year-to-year usage, combined for cumulative testing, and shared with students for practice or classroom testing – and they are scored, too;
• Quizzes can be created in a variety of formats: True/False, Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blank, Matching, and Open-ended;
• Automatic Flash Cards can be generated, in addition to quizzes;
• Special sections, Just Logical and Just Keep Writing, help teachers in testing skill set knowledge and building writing skills;
• Members have access to a “Universal Library” of quizzes built by teachers and tutors – for all subjects and grades;
• Quizzes in the Universal Library can be used “as is” or edited to a member’s preference;
• A free classroom account is assigned to Quiz Infinity members for student use during classroom hours on affiliate sites, QwizzysWorld.com (K-8th) and CramStoppers.com (High School/College).
