January 1, 1944 – August 26,2008

Nancy Samples, 64, of Dawsonville died Tuesday August 26, 2008 at North Fulton Regional Hospital following a period of declining health.

Born in Fulton County, she lived most of her life in Gwinnett County before moving to Dawson County eight years ago.  Mrs. Samples was a devout Christian, reading her bible daily.  She was also a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Opal Capes.

Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Norman Samples, Dawsonville; children, Jill and Allen Jones, Ball Ground; Brad and Maggie Samples, Watkinsville; sister, Janice and Doug Williamson, Lula, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday August 29, 2008 at 2 o’clock at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Jim Ferguson will officiate.

The family will receive friends after 6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
