Mr. David Lawton Tallant, Sr., age 69 a native and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 following an extended illness.

Survivors include:  wife, Martha Tallant of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Javier Brito of FL; son, David Tallant, Jr. of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Libby Tallant and Dennis and Melissa Tallant all of Cumming; daughter, Pam Dooley of Cumming; son, Ralph Tallant of Cumming; 12 grand children; mother, Bernice Tallant of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Rhonda Tallant of Cumming; sister, Margaret Tallant of Cumming; several aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Vaughan and Rev. Danny Orr officiating.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Saturday, March 22, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 23, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements.
