Mary L. Funk, a loving wife and mother 79 years old, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008, at her home in Sugar Hill, Georgia.

Mrs. Funk was predeceased by her parents Warren and Harriett Lear and her son Bill Funk.

Mrs. Funk is survived by her husband of 61 years William Walton Funk of Sugar Hill, GA., her children Chris and Jim Haralson of Colbert, GA., Donna Funk (son Bill’s widow) of Tampa, FL., John Funk of Sugar Hill, GA., Steve and Denise Funk of Chicago, Donald and Denise Funk of Decatur, GA. and Robert and Pavan Funk of Cumming, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Haralson of Colbert, GA., Bill Funk of Orlando, FL., Daniel Funk of Chicago, IL., Jennifer Funk of Chicago, IL., and Ansleigh Funk of Cumming, GA.

The family held a celebration of her life and family memorial service on March 19, 2008. The Rev. Jim Haralson officiated.
