February 10, 1929 – August 17, 2008

Elizabeth Wilson, 79, of Dawsonville died Sunday August 17, 2008 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness.

Born in Forsyth County, she lived most of her life in Dawson County.  Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker, a licensed manicurist and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Irene Garrett; sister, Wilma Turner; and brother, Gerald Garrett.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Bryson Wilson, Dawsonville; son, Clyde and Ann Wilson, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Pat and Missi Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Gavin Wilson, Hayden Wilson; great grandchildren, Kali Milford, Darby Wilson and Logan Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 19, 2008 at 4 o’clock at Liberty Baptist Church.  Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Stephen Davis and Rev. Cecil Reeves will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
