Danny S. Albertson, age 63, of Dawsonville died on Saturday June 21, 2008 at the Rockdale County Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born in Great Falls, Montana, Mr. Albertson had lived in Dawsonville for the past 4 years having moved from Marietta. Mr. Albertson along with Art Richardson and Jay Aldrich owned and operated Tripower Construction and Development. Mr. Albertson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville where he served as a Deacon and Director of Sunday School. He was a long time supporter and participant of the U.S. 10K Classic in Cobb County and the Relay for Life.
Surviving are his wife, Valerie Albertson, Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Dickinson, Loganville; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Shelly Albertson, Dallas; grandchildren, Shelby and Brody Albertson and Noah Steven Dickinson, his second grandson who is due on July 28, 2008; sister, Debbie Stovall, Chattanooga, TN; brother, Larry Albertson, River Falls, WI; and several other friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Albertson will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at 11AM at the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville with Dr. Jim Gaines officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
