According to local authorities, a 44-year-old man was fatally shot by the husband of his business partner after an argument at a home in neighboring Big Canoe.

Lt. Tony Wooten of the Dawson County Sheriff's Deparment says that the argument yesterday morning got physical, and when the husband intervened, the shooting victim pulled a butcher knife and was shot in the chest with a rifle. All three involved are residents of Big Canoe.
