The Dawson County Library and Dawson County Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to bring a Resume Writing Class and Job Fair to the Community.
The Resume Writing and Interview Preparation Class will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. at Dawson County Library, 342 Allen Street in Dawsonville. Instructors Erica Rohlfs and Stacey Leonhardt will guide participants through the resume writing process and share guidelines that will make you stand out from other applicants in the interview process.
Participants should bring a rough list of previous jobs, including dates. If you have a current resume, you may bring that as well. There is no charge for the class, but please pre-register by calling the Dawson County Library at 706-344-3690.
The Job Fair will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 3-6 p.m. at Dawson County Library, 342 Allen Street, in Dawsonville. Businesses who are hiring or will soon be hiring are encouraged to register for this complimentary opportunity. While there is no charge to participate, please call the Dawson County Library or Dawson County Chamber of Commerce for a registration form and submit it to the Library as soon as possible to reserve your space.

Job seekers are encouraged to attend the Resume Writing Class and bring their new resumes to the Job Fair. However, attendance at the class is not required to attend the Job Fair.
The Job Fair will be open to the public at no charge.
