After a record fundraising of $4.2 million on November 5, 2007, Ron Paul supporters will be gathering at Faneuil Hall, in Boston, Massachusetts this Sunday, December 16, the anniversary of the original American protest against the British -- the famous Boston Tea Party event of 1773.
In 1773, British Parliament had retained the tea tax partially as a symbol of its right to tax the American colonies. The colonists had prevented the taxed tea from landing in New York and Philadelphia, and at Boston the three tea ships were again refused permission to unload. Outraged colonists, such as Samuel Adams and Paul Revere, amongst others, boarded the ships on December 16, 1773 and threw the tea into the harbor in protest. Of course, the rest is history and the Americans eventually gained their freedom from England.
According to the Ron Paul camp, this year, American citizens will dump millions of dollars into the Ron Paul presidential campaign to protest the 'inflation tax' created by the continuing down spiral of the worth of the US Dollar. This may prove to be the largest one-day political donation event in history. An enormous Ron Paul blimp has been set up for the event and will be traveling to Boston over the weekend.
Many supporters of the controversial yet conservative politician will be in attendance from the Atlanta area, despite the frigid temperatures and promise of snow. Thousands of Ron Paul supporters are expected from all over the country; some are even ex-pats coming from the Ron Paul MeetUp groups in Europe and other areas of the world.
Supporters of Dr. Ron Paul are often quoted as saying that 'The Revolution is Brewing.'

Nice article thanks.
"controversial yet conservative"
Nice article! In my mind it is clear that Ron Paul has the only chance of the Republican party holding on to the White House. To me it is Ron Paul or Hillary/Obama.
If you are unaware of Ron Paul, please do some research and make an informed decision.
Nice write-up. I, too, believe Paul is the only candidate who can defeat Barack or Hillary.
It's a shame the party is working against him instead of promoting him. It just shows how far the party has drifted from its ideals.
Nice article. I don't agree with everything Paul says, but at this point a vote that is not for Ron Paul is a vote for Hillary and socialism. Needless to say Ron Paul has my full support.
Thank you for true unbiased journalism.
Good article. And thanks for linking TeaParty07. I see in the RP movement an energy and dynamism we haven't seen in at least 150 years.
Google Ron Paul. You might like what you find.
I Vote For Virtue; I Vote For Ron Paul !!!
Thank you Dr. Paul for having the courage to say what other politicians refuse to because they fear losing a vote.
As so many others have already posted, he's the only candidate who can beat the Clinton/Obama machine.
Forget beating Hillary Obama.. he's the only candidate with enough economic knowledge to save us from BANKRUPTCY!
You know what would be cool? If on the day that the blimp is launched, everyone releases a helium balloon with a Ron Paul Revolution sign attached to it at the same time! (if only there was a way that it could be done without the pollution problem).
Thanks for the unbiased article.
Thank you for this great article. We Ron Paul supporters will continue to share the message with other Americans. He is the only Hope for America.
Nice review. Its always cool when Dr. Paul can get some good press. I know I will be dumping a lot of cash into his campaign on the 16th!!! GO RON!
I am a Ron Paul supporter. I contributed $100 on Nov. 5th and we raised 4.2 million in one day. Sunday I will contribute $100 again and we expect to raise $8 million in one day! The Ron Paul Love Revolution is in full swing and there is no way to stop it!!!
