Tim Satterfield has been named Deputy Chief of Emergency Services for Dawson County. Satterfield has 32 years experience in the field, most recently serving as Assistant Chief/Fire Marshall for Dawson County since 2005. He possesses numerous professional certifications including Chief Fire Officer I, II, III Fire Instructor, Georgia Certified Fire Fighter and Inspector.

Tim and his wife Cathy live in Dawsonville and have two sons, Adam and Christopher. Tim also has a grandson, Bradley, age two. Other interests include spending time with family, sports and vintage cars.
