September 11th - Please join us for our Chamber luncheon at Peach Brandy Cottage, 12 noon. Mike Berg, chairman for the Dawson County Board of Commissioners, will be our guest speaker as he presents the State of the County. Please RSVP by calling 706-265-6278 no later than September 8th. Lunch is $12 with RSVP or $15 for walk in.

September 16th - Rain or Shine: Please join us for our 12th Annual Community Picnic at Amicalola Falls State Park, 4:00- 7:00 pm. Free food, entertainment and hayrides are on the agenda! We will also be honoring a group of special citizens. Sponsored by Amicalola Falls State Park, Kroger, United Community Bank, Dawsonville Poolroom, Appalachian Community Bank & the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce. We need door prizes so please let me know if you have anything you would like to donate. We will announce the businesses as we draw the ticket numbers.

October 7th - Dawson County Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. Chamber members have an opportunity to showcase and highlight their businesses to the public. No charge for public admission. The location is Lakeview Center on Dawson Forest Road. Visit www.lakeviewcomplex.com for directions and full information.
