The Dawson County Humane Society (DCHS) is sponsoring a “Profits for Pets” yard sale on Saturday, September 20, in the Kroger parking lot on the corner of GA 400 and Highway 53. Hours are from 7 am to 3 pm.  DCHS is looking for vendors who would like to participate in the Humane Society's cause to find homes for homeless animals.

If you cannot participate as a vendor but have “stuff” to donate, the DCHS would be glad to pick it up (but please, no clothing or large appliances).  DCHS is raffling off a $400 gas grill, John Deere lawnmower, 5-piece patio set, two $100 gift certificates, one from Kroger and one from Longhorn’s.
