According to weather forecasters, we can expect thunderstorms, much colder temperatures and possible snow in north Georgia, with rain beginning to fall early Friday afternoon.
A cold front moving in from the west that's following the rain will drop temperatures down into the 30s, and we could see some snow mixed in with the rain in parts of northeast Georgia. The front will also bring high winds...as strong as 50 mph.
If we do get a snowy mixture, roadways will probably not be affected, although we may see some accumulation on grassy areas.
Get those coats back out and bundle up if you're going outside.
