The Forsyth County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will soon begin regular, weekly testing of the county’s weather sirens.
There are currently two sirens in the county. One is located in the City of Cumming and the other in the Sharon Springs community. The testing is slated to take place every Wednesday at 12:00 noon, weather permitting. Regular testing of the sirens will ensure proper operation and serve to familiarize citizens with what to expect in the event of an emergency.
