A winter weather advisory remains in effect until midnight est tonight.
Light snow is expected to continue across parts of North Georgia this morning. Later this afternoon, precipitation could change to a mixture of snow, sleet and rain before ending late this evening.
Snow and sleet may accumulate to around 1 inch. Most roadways will remain wet but slick spots are likely especially on bridges and overpasses.
A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow or sleet will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
