The NWS in Peachtree City has canceled the ice storm warning.
Temperatures have warmed to slightly above freezing over Northeast Georgia and precipitation has changed over to rain. Ice accumulation on trees and power lines will gradually melt during the afternoon as temperatures rise slowly into the middle to upper 30s. Isolated power outages could still occur due to tree limbs breaking from the remaining ice on the trees.
Rain will be diminishing during the rest of the afternoon with clearing skies anticipated tonight.
