Top Military Advisor to Saddam Hussein and second in command of the Iraqi Air Force General Georges Sada, together with Dr. Terry Law, founder of World Compassion, will be speaking at the House of Prayer Church Family Life Center in Blairsville on Sunday, February 3 at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.

A special interview session with General Sada will occur at 10:10 a.m. For active or former duty armed service men and women who have served in the War on Terror or Desert Storm, there will be a Meet & Greet Reception with General Sada and Dr. Law at 8:00 a.m. in the formal dining hall of the FLC.  All military personnel are welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of this exclusive occasion. Additionally, the House of Prayer Choir will provide music during both services.

General Georges Sada, author of Saddam’s Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein, is an Iraqi of Assyrian descent and was forced into retirement from the Iraqi Air Force in 1986. He was called back to active duty by Saddam Hussein for the 1990 invasion of Kuwait to provide military projections of potential missile launches from US and other forces should they come to the aid of Kuwait.

Hussein further gave Sada the task of overseeing the US and coalition prisoners of war. During an eight-hour confrontation with Qusay Hussein, Saddam’s son appointed over the Iraqi military forces, the general was able to save the lives of 46 POW’s that Hussein intended to execute. General Sada says he was empowered by God on that day, recalling all the events that had unfolded and led him to where he was. It was clear to him that God had orchestrated his path.

After the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Sada sided with the US-led government, and served as spokesman for the interim leader Iyad Allawi, and was appointed as National Security Advisor. He currently serves as a spokesperson for the newly elected prime minister of Iraq.

On January 24, 2006, Sada announced the publication of a book he had written entitled Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein, with the tagline, 'An insider exposes plans to destroy Israel, hide WMDs and control the Arab world.'  In this book, Sada discloses the secrets of what happened to Hussein’s vast stockpiles of WMD.

Pastor Jerry Helton invites the surrounding communities to hear General Georges Sada and Dr. Terry Law as they share their experiences of where the Lord has led them on their journey. They have unashamedly proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ to presidents, sheiks, clerics and ayatollahs. Their stories are compelling, riveting and even humorous at times.

Those with questions they would like to ask General Sada or Dr. Law may submit them to generalsadahop@live.com. All questions will be considered for the 10:10 a.m. interview session.
