The Veterans Affairs of Dawson County is now accepting nominations for 2008 Dawson County Veteran of the Year.

We are looking for veterans that have gone above and beyond to make a positive difference for Dawson County, for a resident or family of Dawson County or for a club/organization. Last year's recipients were Bill Sexton and Wayne Watkins.

Please submit your nominations along with your reason regarding the Veteran that you feel should win the honor of being 2008 Veteran of the Year to:
