The Miss Georgia Peach Scholarship Pageants will be held this year on March 8, 2008 at the Pettigrew Center at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia.  The deadline to enter is March 1, 2008.  Age groups include Tiny Miss - 4-6 years old, Little Miss - 7-10 years old, Junior Miss - 11-13 years old, Teen Miss - 14-16 years old, and Miss - 17-23 years old.

Talent is optional for the Little, Junior and Teen categories but required in the Miss competition. Queens serve as official ambassadors of the Georgia Peach Festival and the peach industry, including recognition by the Georgia House and Senate, as well as Govenor's Office.

Only 15 applications are accepted per group, so all interested parties are encouraged to enter as soon as possible. Miss winner receives a $1,000 savings bond and other queens receive $100 saving bonds. All queens receive gift baskets, a crown and banner, and the Pageant is open to all statewide.
