Chestatee Regional Library System is offering six gingerbread house workshops this holiday season, each with space for 25 participants. The workshops are open to residents of both Dawson and Lumpkin County, ages 3-17; however, due to space limitations in Lumpkin County, all six workshops will be held at Dawson County Library:

Saturday, December 8—10 AM, 12 PM, or 2 PM

Saturday, December 15—10 AM, 12 PM, or 2 PM

Beginning Monday, November 5, reservations will be taken in person or over the phone on a first-come, first served basis. Call 706-344-3690 or 706-864-3688.

Reservations and parental supervision for children under 12 are required, and the library is asking for a $5 donation per child (which is not required but is appreciated). All workshop participants should bring a large cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil.
