Published Oct 11, 2007

The Fire Station, a firehouse-inspired child playhouse -- complete with everything a future firefighter needs -- will be one of the six playhouses to be auctioned for HomeAid Atlanta's Project Playhouse fundraiser.

The Fire Station features a rooftop deck with exterior ladder, two flat-screen TVs, a PlayStation game system, built-in desk, functional sink, built-in bench with storage, fire hydrant water toy, stuffed dalmation with doghouse, hardwoods floors, sleeping bags, two firefighter suits, an American flag, large brass fire bell, a loft with stairs and a fire pole and a pedal car fire truck parked inside a garage with exterior entrance.

The auction will be held at the Atlanta Athletic Club on Saturday, October 20 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the event can be purchased for $50 each by contacting HomeAid Atlanta at 678-775-1401 or via email at homeaid@atlantahomebuilders.com.
