With the large number of calls related to insects, such as yellow jackets, the Dawson County Extension Service will offer a free educational program entitled “Controlling Insects Which Bite or Sting.” Dr. Nancy Hinkle, UGA Entomologist, will be the main speaker.
The program will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. The location will be in the gym at the Dawson County Rock Creek Park (Hwy 9 South).
For questions or to pre-register, contact the Dawson County Extension Office at (706) 265-2442.
