Holly Children's Theatre Team Wins Top Honors

The 12-18 year-old Holly Theatre Competition Team won the top ranking of "Superior" at The National Performing Arts Festival in the Bahamas again this year for performance of Footloose, Feb 5-9, 2009, earning the chance to perform for the cruise ship as part of the advertised entertainment.
The team also participated in workshops by a Disney Talent Instructor and competed in solo/duo competitions with vocal solos and monologues.
In addition to the team's top honor, the following won individual awards:
Best Male Solo- Benny Higgins
Best Female Solo- Kacey Willis
Showcase Performers for Solo/Duo - Haden Rider, Kacey Willis, Benny Higgins, Sarah Peavy, Jaime Certusi, Carly Berg
Best Scene in an Ensemble - Haden Rider & Sarah Peavy for "Almost Paradise"
Best Female Performance - Jaime Certusi
Best Choreography/Dance - Carly Berg
