All are invited to attend a presentation on Tuesday, August 26, regarding interest in the development of a continuing care resort community in the Dawsonville area.

Community Health Systems, a not-for-profit integrated health services provider located in Macon, GA, will be hosting public meetings and focus groups in the north Georgia area to determine the viability of building a continuing care resort community.

The concept of a continuing care resort community merges the health care industry with the hospitality industry to provide a new approach to senior living.

Former Dawson County Commissioner, Bill Saling, will help coordinate the public meetings to introduce the concept and register interested residents for focus group meetings to be held September 23 and 24.

A public presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Dawsonville Municipal Complex. Subsequent dates and locations for public meetings and focus groups will be announced soon.
