As we head to Dahlonega, Georgia this Sunday to enjoy our private tour and tasting at Blackstock Vineyards, I would like to make mention of the newest release from this wonderful little winery: The 2007 Blackstock Bulldog Blush!

David Harris, the winemaker at Blackstock, was a freshman at the University of Georgia in 1980, the year that Georgia won the NCAA Football Championship. He said that he had always wanted to make a "Bulldog" wine, and now he has!

This is the perfect choice for your tailgate party as it will be great with cold fried chicken, barbecue, and sandwiches. Now you don't have to be a Georgia fan to enjoy this wine, but we will understand if Georgia Tech fans choose not to indulge!

We expect delivery of this brand new wine sometime after the 17th of September, and supplies will be somewhat limited, so we will be happy to reserve six bottles or more for you upon its arrival. We will be able to taste this one at the winery on Sunday.
