December 7th, Meet U.S. Senator and former Georgia Governor Zell Miller at United Community Bank, GA 400 Office. He will be there from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm signing copies of his newest book, “The Miracle of Brasstown Valley.”

December 7th & 8th, The Dawson Community Chorale will proudly present the Handel's "The Messiah" at their 10th anniversary celebration and Holiday concert, 7:30 pm at Riverview Middle School on Hwy 9 South. The Dawson County Chorale is under the direction of Dr. Joe Chapman (NGCSU) and is being accompanied by Ms. Janice Darnell on the Harpsichord, along with an orchestral accompaniment. Tickets are available at the Dawson County Arts Council, any Dawson County Chorale member and at the door. A public reception will be held immediately following the concert each night in their school's common area.

December 7th, Bella's Corner Bistro would like to annouce world renowned Flamenco guitarist, Curtis Jones, will be playing a special acoustical holiday engagement featuring international sounds of classical, jazz, and Flamenco music from 6-9PM.
