150th Celebration at Dawson County Library a Big Success

Published Oct 10, 2007

As part of the 150th Anniversary of Dawson County celebration, Dawson County Library hosted Old Fashioned Days on Saturday, September 22.

The program was a great success, featuring a professional story teller, spinning demonstrations, home-made ice cream on the patio, and blacksmithing demonstrations.

The event was made possible with the help of many volunteers, including Friends of Dawson County Library, Cathy Waddell of Eureka Café, and local residents Trudy Gantt, Anne Olausson, Helen Taylor, and Andrew Wilson.
