The Arcadian Wine Dinner with Winemaker Joe Davis is set for Saturday, January 12, 2008, 7-10 p.m. at Montaluce Wintey & Estates in Dahlonega. This is Montaluce's first winemaker's dinner with California winemaker Joe Davis - the 2008 High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction honoree.
Arcadian Winery www.arcadianwinery.com) produces award winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah's. Arcadian is built on the principle of combining the best of old world wine making techniques while taking advantage of state-of-the-art science to make world class wine. Joe Davis, a chemist by trade, uses the time-honored method of “pigeage à pied” (treading grapes by foot) and uses the controversial wine making technique of “whole cluster fermentation.” Join others at Montaluce for this very special event to meet Joe Davis and taste his wines paired with the food of Le Vigne's Chef Steve Hewins.
