Come Out and audition for our fall children's theatre performance Wizard of Wonderland.
This audition is open to ages 6-18. This is a non-musical show. We will be casting approximately 11-20 young actors. Please be prepared for a cold reading from the script. The lead role and supporting roles may be cast as either female or male. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday's from 4-6pm. Performance dates are October 25, November 1 and November 8 at 1pm.
WIZARD OF WONDERLAND
Dorthy Meets Alice
A play about the delightful meeting of two of literature's most famous young ladies unfolds when a young man puts off a book report till the last minute, then suddenly finds himself in a strange place somewhere between Oz and Wonderland. It then becomes his responsiblility to unscramble the stories and steer the familiar characters-the Cowardly Lion, the Mad Hatter, the Scarecrow and the White Rabbit, among others-to their ultimate destinations while avoiding the Wicked Witch and the Red Queen. This hilarious, adventuresome romp is filled with laughter and surprises at every turn. And a couple of lessons emerge along the way.
