Your Dawson County Humane Society needs you! A "Profits for Pets" yard sale will take place on Saturday, September 23, in the Kroger parking lot (the Dawsonville Kroger at the corner of Georgia 400 and Highway 53), and the hours are from 7am to 3pm. Vendors are needed who would donate 25% or more of their proceeds to the Humane Society, specifically for the construction of the planned new animal shelter. If residents have "stuff" they'd like to donate for the yar sale, members of the Humane Society are glad to pick items up. (Please, no clothes or large appliances).

The Humane Society is raffling off a $400 gas grill on the day of the yard sale, and tickets are now on sale.
