The Dawson County Humane Society reminds friends to participate in Fishing for Funds, a fundraising event sponsored by Up the Creek Fish Camp and Grill, to be held this Monday, February 26, 2007, 5pm-9pm.

Up the Creek is located at 1530 Market Place Blvd. in Cumming, just east of Exit 14 off of GA 400.  This event will help to provide funds for the DCHS's building fund, and all are welcome to attend.  Please contact Kathy Greene at 706-265-1492 for questions concerning this event.

Those wishing to attend are invited to print out a certificate that can be obtained through the Humane Society via .PDF file.  The printable flyer will actually contain four certificates on one page, and the page may be cut into quarters so that you can give certificates to your friends.  Please note that the only thing you CANNOT do is stand in the restaurant parking lot and hand out certificates to strangers walking into the restaurant.  The DCHS will forfeit all profits for the evening if anyone is caught doing this.  The DCHS thanks you in advance for following this directive.
