The Northeast Georgia Mountains Travel Association will meet February 14, 2007, at 12:00 noon at North Georgia Technical College - Blairsville Campus (434 Meeks Avenue, Blairsville, GA 30512).  The guest speaker is Stacey Dickson, President of the Gainesville Hall CVB and the Association's Advertising Chairperson.  Stacey will help members get the most marketing benefits from their Northeast Georgia Mountains Travel Association memberships.  Guests will learn how to make the Northeast Georgia Mountains Travel Association Brochure a more effective selling tool for their respective businesses and what to do with leads received from the Travel Association.  Members will also learn more about the benefits of the Association's advertising co-op.

The mission of the Northeast Georgia Mountains Travel Association is to promote travel and tourism in the part of Georgia composed of the following 17 counties -- Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Elbert, Franklin, Gwinnett, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Madison, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White -- by developing and engaging in tourism related programs designed to be beneficial to this region, and to work in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and other regional travel associations and organizations.
