Share Our Strength, an organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America, is asking for a hand to help make it’s next big event, Give Me Five, a huge success. Bringing together five of Georgia’s best chefs and sommeliers, Sunday, July 22 will be a magical night for wine and food lovers as they dine and drink surrounded by the gorgeous scenery of Lake Burton and the North Georgia Mountains at Waterfall Country Club in Clayton, Georgia.Beginning at 5 p.m., this exemplary culinary experience will include a 6-course dinner with each course prepared by a different chef. Guest chefs include Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia, Micah Willix of Ecco, Gary Donlick of Pano’s & Paul’s, Robert Gerstenecker of Park 75 and Jonathan St Hilaire of Concentrics Restaurants. Wine will be paired to perfection by Persimmon Creek Vineyards with commentary provided by Herve Pennequin of Nikolai's Roof, retired sommelier Yves Durand, Eddie Valente of The Grape, Daniel Rudiger of Bacchanalia and Silvio Garcia of The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. Live and silent auction items will also be up for bid and live entertainment by Melanie and All That Jazz will mesmerize the crowd.
