The 9th annual "A Taste of the Mountains" is Thursday, March 29th, seating at 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. at Lumpkin County High School.

Tickets are $15 for adults,  $5 for children, ages 5-12, and free under five.  Tickets go on sale March 1st and are available at the Chamber of Commerce and from members of the Family Connection Collaborative.  The event has been a sellout for the past few years so buy tickets early.

"Taste" features food from 20 or so restaurants in the Dahlonega area and attracts hundreds of "tasters."   A silent and live auction will be held in conjunction with the event. 

"Taste" is the major spring fundraiser for Lumpkin County Family Connection, a collaborative of agencies and individuals working together to assist families in creating better outcomes for their children.  Services include providing family advocates in all Lumpkin County schools, administering the mentor program, challenge/ropes course, and youth leadership programs.
