Effective October 1, 2007 Dawson County will upgrade Transfer Station operations with the following changes: 

·         Increase in days and hours of operation to Monday – Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

·         Now led by a new facility manager, Tyler Jones, who was instrumental in locating equipment purchased by the County for more cost-effective operations.

·         Service will return to the previously used covered concrete dumping floor for customer convenience. 

There will be no changes to the current fee schedule.  Customers are encouraged to continue maximum usage of the recycle bins.  Signs will be posted to assist our customers with these changes.
