The Sugar Hill LDS Choir announces its fourth annual free community concert, themed "My Heart Goes Home for Christmas," on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.
The performance will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Sugar Hill Stake Center at 4833 Suwanee Dam Rd., near North Gwinnett High School. The concert will feature the Golden Bells ensemble in addition to a variety of other instrumentals that will provide a truly enjoyable evening for the whole family. The performance has quickly become a Christmas tradition for many in the community.
The 65-voice Sugar Hill LDS Choir, named in 2006 as one of the top church choirs in Gwinnett County, is directed by Pamela Gates and draws its members from Dawson, Hall, Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties.
The all-volunteer choir performs in the community for free and has participated in key holiday celebrations for the cities of Atlanta, Norcross, Suwanee, Sugar Hill and Gainesville, with events including Memorial Day, July 4th, Veteran's Day and Christmas.
