'Flying High' Benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

The Friends Junior Committee, one of more than 33 Community Friends volunteer groups of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, presents the second annual Flying High event on May 31, 2008 at 7 p.m. The flight-themed evening takes off at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport where guests will be transported back to another era to enjoy catered food, drinks, live music, dancing and a silent auction.

Friends Junior Committee is a volunteer organization comprised of young professionals who support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and its mission to enhance the lives of children.

All proceeds from Flying High will contribute to Friends funding areas including Neurosciences, the Friends Research Fund, Children's School Health Program, the Aflac Cancer Center Endowment, Big Apple Circus Clown CareT Unit, Patient and Family Support and Lifepak 12 defibrillator/ monitor and the Propaq vital signs monitor.
