First Lady Mary Perdue announced today that she will host her 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 11:00am-1:00pm. 

Families who wish to attend should RSVP in advance by calling the Constituent Services Hotline at (404) 656-1776.  Only phone reservations will be accepted.  Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.  Due to space limitations and for safety concerns, the number of chaperones should be one adult per two children.

Activities at the 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will include the Easter Egg Roll on the front lawn, an Egg Hunt, Egg Decorating and an Easter Basket Cupcake Creation Station. Entertainment will also consist of a moonwalk, face painting, balloon animals, and the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Children are asked to bring their own basket to collect souvenirs.  Families attending are encouraged to bring a children’s toy or book as a charitable donation benefiting Georgia’s Children.

Participants are asked to arrive at the Mansion by 10:30am.  Guests with reservations should enter the main security gate and their name will be on the list to allow admittance.
