A young boy, orphaned since a mere infant, never knew anything except sadness, loneliness and sorrow. He ran away from the foster home where he had been abused so badly. He came upon a young woman coming from a store with gifts galore. She seemed so happy and pleased. He heard her sing a song about “Jingle Bells and Dashing Through the Snow.” He remembered hearing a song long ago but wasn’t certain of the words. It said something about Christmas. So, he approached the young woman and asked:
“What is this Christmas so many speak of?
I heard it once and it spoke of the Father above.
Do you know this Father? Have you seem Him before?
I am all alone and I need to know more.
You see, I never knew my father or mother.
I don’t have a family, a sister or brother.
I once had a puppy but they took him away.
Now, I don’t have anyone with which I can play.
One winter night, I was cold and I sneaked into a back door.
I heard people singing a song about Christmas. Can you tell me more?
They sang about a baby named Jesus born on this day.
Away in a manger, I remember hearing them say.”
Suddenly the young woman fell to her knees.
She cried, “Father, forgive me please!”
“I had forgotten myself what Christmas was really about.
It’s not presents under the tree or whether I pout.”
“You sent a small boy to remind me of Jesus’ birth.
He says he has nothing; yet, He seeks You here on earth.
Is it possible you sent him to me tonight?
To remind me of the Star that shines so bright.”
It was on that Christmas Eve night many years ago, a woman and young boy knelt down beside the road. She told him of Jesus and the story of His life. Never again would she take Christmas in strife.
And on this Christmas as we go about our busy life, rushing to do more shopping and worrying about how many gifts to buy, remember the only True Gift of Christmas has already been purchased. It has been delivered and fortunately one day, He will be returned to us, to take us home.
Merry Christmas and don’t forget the Reason for the Season!

This is what I would expect from Pam. She is one of a kind and KNOWS the real meaning of Christmas. GOOD JOB.
Pam you've been given a special gift, a gift that comes so natural to you, words of rhyme that touch the hearts of others. Your gift makes us stop and think about life. You are a very kind and loving person.
Pam, You are our special angel. We are all so fortunate to have you in our daily lives. Thank you for reminding all of us about the "true" meaning of Christmas.
