Dawson County Parks and Recreation is hosting its final outdoor movie night for 2010 on August 20. The “Movies in the Park” outdoor movie series provides the public with the opportunity to enjoy an evening with family and friends at a very small cost.
The August 20 movie night will be begin at 7:00pm with children’s activities and vendors starting the night. The movie, which is shown on a huge inflatable screen at Rock Creek, will begin at dusk. Admission is FREE. Movie-goers are invited to bring picnic dinners or purchase from the concession vendors available on-site for the event.
The 2010 outdoor movie series, presented by Northside Hospital-Forsyth, hosts family-friendly movies. The August 20 movie night will show Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
In the event of inclement weather, the start time of the event will be postponed until the inclement weather passes or the event will be moved inside the Recreation Center.
