The Dawson County Humane Society will celebrate the one-year anniversary of its shelter and is seeking volunteers for this celebratory event. 

The anniversary celebration takes place on Sunday April 26, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Rock Creek Park in Dawsonville. Several vendors will be set up, and lunch will be offered to all guests. 

Many activities will be available to event guests, and volunteer help is needed in several areas: Merchandise Table, Information Table, Shelter Tours and Quilt Raffle Ticket table.  The shelter kindly asks that volunteers sign up for two-hour shifts (10 a.m. -12 p.m., 12-2 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and tear down at 4 p.m.).
