Good morning Georgia.
A message from John Oxendine:
We are in the process of Early Voting. I encourage you to vote. I implore you - do not fall victim to the effort by the Obama liberals and their accomplices in the national media. They are doing their best to tell us that the race is over and that Obama might as well pick out the drapes for the Oval Office because our side is angry and has given up.
I know that is not true. In the past two weeks, my campaign has been in 18 counties from South Georgia to the mountains, from Central Georgia to all over Metro Atlanta. I have seen the excitement for McCain-Palin. I have listened to real Georgians talk about how excited they are. We have more than just a chance - we can win.
It is up to you. Will you go vote in Early Voting? Will you call and e-mail everyone you can and urge them to vote? Tell them you believe we can win and that they should too.
You might wonder, is it worth it to vote this year? Does it really matter? Yes, it matters. It matters to your children and your grandchildren. If you want them to grow up with the same American values we cherish, you will vote and get others to vote. Faith, family, freedom - Ronald Reagan had it right and those things matter all the more in this election.
I believe Obama will attempt to redefine our form of government in a manner that mirrors socialist governments in Europe. That is a serious issue.
I believe that he will appoint extreme leftist Justices to the Supreme Court - that is a tragedy which will haunt America long after his Administration is over.
In addition, we need to vote for Saxby Chambliss and your local Republican state House and state Senate candidates. We cannot afford to have Democrats win these other important campaigns here in Georgia.
Friends, elections are important. I know the lines will be long, but I know you will vote. That is not enough, though. It is vital that you personally call, e-mail, speak to in person - get everyone you know to go vote.
Ivy and I thank you for your friendship and support. We wish you and your family a blessed week and ask you to pray for our nation and get out the vote!
