June 6th, Please join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the New Adult Literacy Center on Hwy 9 North, just off the downtown square beside the Dawson County Arts Council, at 10:00 am. 

June 11th, Please join us for a ribbon cutting here at the Chamber, 11:30 am, for our newest member, Go Small Biz- Independent Agents. They are a home-based business legal services rider.

June 12th, Lunch with the Chamber at noon. Our guest speaker will be Senator Chip Pearson. RSVP no later than June 9th by calling the chamber at 706-265-6278.

June 16th, Last day to register to vote in the July 15th General Primary.

June 24th, First Citizens Bank of Georgia hosts our June Business After Hours from 5-7 pm. They are located on GA Hwy 400 just south of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill. June 28th, Youth Car Show & Concert: United 2008! Bands performing will be The Breakdown, Chris Coleman, Radio City Playhouse, Anacey and Eleventhour. June 30th, FORE! So you think you can golf. Dawson County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Tournament is looking for teams or individual golfers.
